Well, late Wednesday night I just couldn't resist the 'Place your order now' button on Amazon for the Canon 300D after reading so much about it. 'Usually dispatched within 24 hours' it said, so I thought, great, have it in time for the weekend.

Finally get a dispatch email today which means I won't have it for the weekend, only to find it's for the 512k CF card only, camera on order

Oh how I hate waiting for goodies to arrive...

I suppose a new digi would be nice, may as well make use of the lenses at least at the moment the SLR has only had about 4 rolls of film put through it from new
