Anyone finalised their spec yet? Just can't get my head round colours - too much choice! Was going to go for orange but there're going to be a lot of those and I'm not sure it's the best clour for the car. Silvers seem to show the shape off best but seems a boring choice. Maybe whole car in stealth black. God it's as bad as choosing a yogurt in Waitrose! Yet again I'm finding what should be a fun part of buying a car a right pain. Ungrateful attitude I suppose but there it is.

How can you when they STILL haven't released any prices. I couldn't give a stuff about the Ron Dennis this and Lewis that when they can't or won't answer simple pricing questions.

Dealer was quoting me prices yesterday, and able to tell me what options won't be available on the very first cars but will come 'on line' three to six months into production (light weight carbon race seats and some on track computer/timing gizzmos being examples).

If they'll do it I may go for that semi matt finish in black, with black wheels etc.

Ah, I'm with you. He seemed to be solid on the options but not 100% on base price yet. 'Hoping' sub £170k - then added "probably £169,995 lol"

Hhhmmm, I asked a number of times how much the brake options were and they didn't have the answers. All well and good ceramics being £8k for example, but if the replacement steels are only £400 a pop you can do lots of trackdays and still be in the money.

From memory I think carbon brakes were a fair bit more than that but, since at most, I'll probably only take the car on a couple of track days a year (say Spa & 'Ring) I won't be bothering with any brake upgrades and wasn't therefore really listening.

All the Swiss dealer can tell me is CHF 50k deposit sir, drive the car in Spain in January, probably get the car around May next year. Prices, well, we'll let you know!

Black exterior and orange / black driver centred interior looks really good.

Silver looks wishy washy

The mid blue metallic looks really good to, shows off the shape, vents etc better than black.

Natural Greek with some local honey can be the only choice.

Why don't you get it in BRG? Never enough BRG cars around.

Dealer told me last week that spec was being finalised at end of the week for launch cars, and that one or two options would drop off. Haven't spoken to him since, but expect that is why prices are suddenly available.

I have Orange, White and Silver on configurator, but waiting to see them in the flesh as think it will be colour sensitive. I'm now hoping that UK customers' test drives will be in Spain as well!
