Lincoln - Petrol station - Skellingthorpe Rd & Birchwood Ave

I've noticed the site has remained dorment now for nearly a year. The old petrol station and shop was pulled down in Sept 2008 with a replacement due within a year. On passing I'd noticed 2 men working on it intermittently, building what looks like a new shop and new petrol station canopy, then worked stopped.

Does anyone have a heads up on activities on the site. Has the developer run out of money? Would they even consider a cash offer for the site as it is?

Any info would be great.
