To the great Modena and Maranello area, staying in Carpi actually. Never been before so looking for some tips and pointers on what to do and see, and what not to see, or not bother with?

Participating in the Enzo Ferrari Memorial Marathon on Sunday 10.10.10 but can't say any more than that as the last post I put up vanished, 'poof' it went, up into the ether...

Do I take it that you're running 26 miles, 385 yards? Just got back from Berlin Marathon week and a half ago, off to Nice - Cannes in 6 weeks. Didn't know there was another member of the Nobility who ran Marathons

Wow - Just arrived in Italy via the Stelvio Pass - absolutely fantastic and the weather has been great.

Not sure NTH, whereabouts is it? We're in Valdisotto at the moment half way down the Alps. I was just going to plumb in Sant'Agata in the morning and head straight for the Lambo Museum...

Will do my best to run all the way OT but can't guarantee anything - how did the Berlin Marathon go?

Thanks David - that's a very kind offer - maybe next time we're here. We are booked into the Touring Hotel in Carpi this time, which is on the finishing line - we'll need it that close!

Just finished and had a shower and lay down. Damm well needed it - got some well bad cramps on the last 8km's and had to stop a time or two. Not feeling too bad now though.

Managed to do 4hrs 09mins unofficial time.

Just off for some dinner now...

Well done mate, I know you were trying to get under 4.15. Difficult to explain how bad it gets unless you've been there yourself. Plenty of fluid now - I find Strongbow hits the spot!
