Route advice for Midlands to Chelsea
Discussion
We're going to be travelling down to Chelsea FC for a stadium tour (not a match day) on a Sunday.
We're coming down from the Midlands, so I was thinking M40 / M25 to J15, then M4. (Or would we be better going down the A40 to avoid Heathrow?)
I'm thinking of parking near Ealing Broadway, then getting the tube in to Fulham Broadway.
I don't know what that side of London is like on a Sunday, and I've no idea if parking near Ealing Broadway is a good idea.
There will be 4 of us coming down, so the car will be cheaper than the train (which I would never trust on a Sunday anyway due to works)...
Any advice greatly appreciated. My plan looks good on paper, though I've no knowledge of the area and roadworks / no-go zones etc.

How long would you say to drive from M25 J15 to Stamford Bridge? Google Maps reckons 21mins, but I'm guessing that's optimistic even for a Sunday??
as ever with London/M25 - time of day matters a lot! Early in the day should be fine - later (and/or leaving later in the day...) will be another matter.just leave plenty of time - worst comes to the worst, you've got time for a coffee when you get there

I'll have a look at Parkatmyhouse. Is there any congestion charge on a Sunday? I've no idea as the last time I drove in London was in a company Montego Estate, so you get the idea how long ago that was!
