MOT for my 328i Shed: will she pass?

My beloved E36 328i Touring http://web4.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=162&i=22... is due an MOT soon, and I would love to know the answer to the following:

My right rear passenger door is stuck closed, though all other doors work: is this going to mean an MOT failure?

If yes, is it going to be a new door, or is it likely to be a quick fix?

As a bit of background, it looks as if the door has had a dent rather inexpertly repaired at some point, and I suppose that may have been the cause of some internal damage to the locking mechanism...

They're tough old cars these. Get it fixed, and it'll last for years.

If you were a tester - would you not fail a car with a door that doesn't open? What if it gets into an accident? I'm not being judgemental here, simply attempting to use logical thinking.

Take her to Phil @ CPC Engineering for a full rundown before the test.

You'll find out then if it's a shed or not.
