I have one of the earlier Chim's, in which they used to supply you with a spare tyre. One of these space saver types, quite pretty looking in a dark gray metal finish.

However when it came to the time when I had to use it, it was unbelievably the wrong stud pattern for the car. Has anyone else experienced this? It might be worth a quick check in the boot.

I've binned the old one and have a can of that nasty expanding foam stuff for a real emergency, also have the necesary AA cover.
