climat control problems

i have a mini one D that i have had all sorts of fun with the cooling system on.
but that is all sorted now thank god.

however it has the digital climat control and will not plow more than slightly warm.

i have checked that it is not an air lock in the heater matrix whch is red hot.
is there a known fault with the system like there s with the Ka for example.
