From the 11th October to the 3rd November the ACO members can reserve their camping and get tickets before the others.

I see the ACO have changed the calendar somewhat for next year. The prequal is now a week earlier than usual on April 24 and the 24 hour bike race has been switched from April to September 24/5. The 24 hour car race is a week later in September but there is a 6 hour race in May. all change!
it was only last year they chenged it to October. Thanks for the info Lowdrag but personally, my dealings with the ACO have not been good. Even with membership, in 2008 we got our 2nd choice of campsite and they couldn't give us the grandstands we wanted even though we emailied to reserved them in August. €95 membership wasted. One can of course buy tickets from excellent agents such as Team Langoustine and 1st Tickets for-example, English, accessable and friendly with good knowledge and who will actually give you the seat numbers you request in the grandstands if they can (always have) cheaper too than the ACO if you take into account the €95 membership.
I got the email in response to one I sent previously requesting tickets having not realised the system had changed. Originally they said tickets were on sale from October 4th, but I got the revised date of the 11th last week. Suits me fine, I am an ACO member so gives a week to decide what we want, only trouble is that I am travelling all day on the 11th so may not get on the net until late in the day.

I'v never been to le mans before so im lost haha, with the camping tickets is that per pitch (if so how many people can use it) or per person, also theres a car park ticket on that site, most of the photos iv seen people are parked by their tents?cheers

"With this privilege of booking 24 days before other spectators of the “24 Heures”, you, ACO members, benefit from an enormous advantage, for you will have priority over other people to purchase a General Enclosure ticket, and also a Grandstand seat and/or a camping place of your choice (subject to availability, first-come, first-served; basis reduced prices to 6 tickets maximum according to the chosen membership formula"
I'm an ACO member and have tried to use this 'privilege'. Unfortunately the important words up there is 'first-served'. The phone lines are jammed and the website's not taking bookings.
In previous year's we've bought at the track the year before or sent them an e-mail. Results varied but normally worked out ok. Unfortunately this 'improvement' seems to have failed.
(Incidentally, if you go to their website and look at the French language page, the countdown was to 10am UK time and has said that tickets are on sale since then. On the English language page, the countdown is to 11am, so perhaps members in France get an extra hour to get in there.)

king useless and either isn't working or is inaccessible - needless to say the instructions in English are non-existent. The French will have all the seats booked by now so what is the point. So, after thirty years, I am beginning to think that they can go fk themselves and I will go to Spa again instead - cheaper, more fun, less stress, better viewing, great hotels.rlw said:

I just knew this wouldn't work!!!!!!. And how many people signed up for ACO membership, they are just out to make more money the theiving Barstewards.
