Any ideas of how to fix it? it goes up when I lock the car but not on the switch. Could this be the wet weather weve had recently as it was fine one day then next morning it had sh!t itself.
Cheers

You don't say in what car but presume a T car - so, my similar experience in a T2S with the curvy dash - same symptoms, turned out to be the plastic button surround ( the bit that lights up) had come loose and wedged the microswitch in the down position.

So, when locking, the window went up, but otherwise went down without being pressed.

Easy repair, remove centre console, remove window switch panel, glue plastic ring back in place - simples

Mine did this on the way back from lemans in torrential rain. frown It seemed to think the door was open. Turned out to be damp in the door latch microswitch. Once dry it was fine so I sealed it all up with a liberal dousing of silicon spray. Been fine since.

It is actually very easy to remove the centre console - only 3 screws, the pipe to the rear vent and the connection to the window switch panel. Once off, turn it over, circuit board in in two pieces - I'll let you work the rest out! smile
