Old girl over 250k, is there a badge

Hi chaps,
Someone somewhere mentioned that if a car goes past certain landmark mileages that it is eligible for a badge or something......seeing as mine has sailed right past quarter of a million with not as much as a squeak I was wondering

Merc do give something but I don't think the car qualifies until it's at either 500k or possibly higher so you better get driving old chap !

BL used to hand out awards if the car reached 5000 miles...they didn't hand many out....

Mercedes have a sliding scale dependent on the era of the car. 600 owners for example - no award until you've covered 1,000,000 miles. My 320 SL is at 164,000 miles - no award until its hit the half million mark

If Mercedes really do give out badges then the taxi's in Tenerife should have multiple badges.

From memory a 250td had done over 1m 350k and the guy told me it was the original engine but had a new turbo at 800k and the gearbox reconditioned at 800k

In his words though they don’t make them like that anymore
