Hi,

Just thought I'd share a few pics I took last weekend (with my iphone, so quality not brilliant, sorry) at the Aston Martin owners meet at Curborough Sprint course last weekend.

Enjoy...

Cheers

Si

Here's a few more from my phone while I'm at it, from a few more weeks ago at both Curborough and Shelsley Walsh.

Blimey, I thought someone out there might like at least one of these motors, already down to page 4 without a comment...

It must have been something I said.

I think the black wings/post things are for time trial events?? Is it so the clocks can pick up on them as they pass through certain stages?

Edit: Also these pics remind me of a mini Goodwood type event! smile Looks fun whens the next one?

They're timing struts - they break the beam at the start and finish lines.

This is very much real, I've seen this run at both Curborough and Shelsley Walsh now, it's truly awesome. It's running about 750hp apparently - when I saw it run at Curborough it got to the hairpin at the top, then I could just hear a whoosh of induction before it exploded down the straight, I've never seen anything other than a single seater accelerate any quicker.

My favourite bit is the broom handle bonnet prop, I think it's an original works audi part...
