Audi A3 TDi S-Line....yay or nay???

Hi, am knew to this site so hope this is the right place to post this...
..I'm looking to buy an Audi A3 2.0tdi S-Line (used between 2005 to 2008), although having read some reviews it seems they are full of faults and the suspension on the S-Line is rock solid. Can anyone comment on these cars, does anyone own or owned one?

On a more serious note, I own an A3 albeit with the 3.2, and it's a Sport rather than the S-Line version.
The ride on mine is ridiculously hard, although I quite enjoy it in a strange sort of way. I don't think I'd particularly recommend it though. S-Line is stiffer still, so that must be awful.
I've never driven the 2.0 diesel, so can't comment on that.
It's nose heavy, doesn't feel particularly well balanced, but does grip well. Haldex came in very handy last winter.
Overall, I love my car. It does feel like a quality product and I like its design. It's quiet, comfortable (on smooth roads anyway), practical and has been broadly reliable in the three years and 45,000 miles I've done. Dealer gets a thumbs up (Caffyns in Brighton) too.

I think this is what happened to S-line. Turns out he was really a Jap fan, so was asked to leave the marque
As for the A3, they are common but with good reason; nice cars, but the s-line is too hard suspension for me. Perosnally I'd rather have the Golf. Probably get more toys, too.

as an everyday car it suits my needs perfectly and I wouldn't change it for any car (if I were paying)
it's been reliable, returns 40/5ish mpg through london in the rush hour, very comfy and attracts little attention
servicing is about £200/250 every 18k miles or 9 months for me
sure it's not the final word on dynamics or steering feel (there's far better cars out there) but it has a reasonable lick of pace and you can get the arse out if you take liberties on greasy roundabouts
