IT training group?

I am currently looking for a job and have subsequently passed my CV on to everyone and anyone who think might be able to help.
Since handing out my CV I have heard back from a company that trains graduates in an IT stream and then gives them placements throughout the UK but mainly in London. The main catches are that by agreeing to do this you have to sign a 2 year contract with them and that you can be placed anywhere in the UK.
Being honest, I don't feel comfortable with the whole thing, especially since part of the 'interview' process involved being sat down for a 30 minute 'presentation' which felt a lot like a sales pitch. It also sounds like a dream opportunity which seems odd considering that they have about a large number of people going through this process all the time. Does anyone know anything else about these groups as it feels wrong to me, but don't know if I'm being unreasonable.
