Cars least likely to be let out at junctions

That age old survey has come out and, as usual, van drivers are least likely to be let out at junctions.

It's the usual suspects down the list (BMW drivers etc) but coming in at number 9 of the 'Top ten cars drivers WON’T let out' is the *DRUMROLL*

LAMBORGHINI DIABLO!

I've never even seen a Diablo on the road - the only people I actively avoid letting out are buses and lorries because I know the likelihood is that I'll be stuck behind them for a while. Hopefully that doesn't make me too much of a bad person.

I will never let out a bus, they try and barge anyway.

I will always let out a Diablo because it's exhausts sound good.

Engine note equates to the chance of being let out.

I will also always let out anything really old as I know how annoying it is when the damn thing starts to overheat in traffic.

Most people don't get let out where I live because they're already rolling and expect you to let them out. I've left a few people stranded blocking part of the road because they expected me to stop for them. The people behind me don't usually stop either. Funny, that.

I will never let an Audi Q7 out. Anyone else will be either let out or denied based on my mood, the amount of traffic, whether they are likely hold me up (tractors, trucks, buses, caravans, Korean cars, Honda Jazz) how much of a rush I am in and whether anyone has done that particular favour for me on the day.

I have never let a Diablo out either... Mind you, the only one I have ever seen in the wild was parked up in a filling station in Brighton.

Around these parts the question is irrelevant - most people wanting to turn right out of a side road simply edge forward until traffic from the right is forced to a halt.

Usually someone coming from the left feels sorry enough for those forced to wait that they let the ignorant tt into their lane.

I never let Taxi's out, mainly because they push their way out, and I have yet to see a taxi drive who has any road manners. Other than that, I will judge it based on; traffic / mood / attitude (cars pushing or expecting to be let out).

Just for clarity, I have a genuine dislike of taxi drivers.

They are slow, they are generally too big for town streets and they pump out concentrated cancer from the exhausts

They should have thought of that when setting the timetable. Around here it is single lanes each way so you let out a bus and you can be stuck behind it inhaling the exhaust fumes for miles.

I let out most people.. It doesn't half surprise BMW drivers etc.. when I flash them out...

Apart from the times you can't get past, and you end up stuck behind it for a couple of miles, stopping every now and again for ages as women climb aboard and start looking for their purse.

The only things I consiously won't let out, are things with blacked out windows, and 4x4's (off road type) with stupid low profile tyres.

Diablo seems a bit specific, mixed in with some generalised options? I wonder how the survey was conducted..

ETA, also the ten most likely to be let out are all specific models, except Seat.. fking surveys, how do they work?

Nobody ever lets me out on my bicycle and I don't even dress like a illuminous tit. That said I don't tend to let cyclists out either so its swings and roundabouts I suppose.

I like to let the odd BMW out just to see the surprise on thier faces!

Range Rovers*, Q7, X5, any bully-boy pickups like the Navara or any car with heavy tinted windows.

Oh and any "look at me" attention seeking vehicles such as those with gheyer LED fairy lights.

Anyone with front fogs on can also kiss my ass.

In Essex that leaves a couple of Transits and my car.

What a miserable I am.

I'm generally very polite and judge a situation as it occurs, this keeps traffic flowing and most people genuinely appreciate the courtesy.However it is annoying when you flash to let someone out and you than realise they are not even looking! A waste of a moment and sometimes slightly dangerous as you tend to slow to let them out, nothing happens and other road users can be confused.
