A quick oil pressure question

Would a lower-than-we've-been-used-to-recently ambient temperature on start-up make the oil pressure higher?

(ie, do cold mornings increase oil pressure?)

Yes. Colder oil = thicker oil = higher pressure at start-up. Should be the same though when up to temp.

Unless you have got very old oil that was not getting full pressure when cold before, then no. The relief valve in the pump operates at say 60psi and you can't get more than that, what you will get on a cold day is the higher reading for longer as the oil takes longer to reach temperature.
