Help.............

The daughter of some dear, but distant friends is getting married this weekend.

I cannot for the life of me, imagine what I can get them for a gift.

My current thoughts include,

~ Bottle of Champagne
~ Thomas Cook vouchers
~ Toaster
~ Big teddy bear
~ Case of wine

Can the PH family unite and propose any other suggestions?

(can you see what I did there?)

Case of vino you can't go to far wrong with. As for the champers depends if they are into it.
Personally, I thought now days cash in a card was the done thing more so than presents.
Or maybe that's just Ireland!

Budget?

What do you know about them?

I mean, how about something like their family crest (married name that is) which can adorn their new house?

Tricky...

Champagne can rarely offend
Not knowing what they have already, a few "safe" items that people don't mind duplicates of: good kitchen knives (eg Wursthof), nice towels in a safe colour (beige/white), linen napkins, etc
Vouchers for Habitat / Ikea
