It's used to re-salinate the rain water before flowing into the sea, which in the past has produced some brackish areas with no stable eco-system

It seems fairly clear what he is saying. It is used to make rainwater which is being routed into the sea salty so that it doesn't create this brackish water.Edited by cahami on Friday 1st October 02:04
