Road salt?

Anyone else noticed what apears to be a salt mountain that is growing at beam park dageham?( ex ansa/ford transporter yard) is it for use on the roads?

It's used to re-salinate the rain water before flowing into the sea, which in the past has produced some brackish areas with no stable eco-system

Im a fisherman i know what brackish water is. what has this to do with my question? are you saying this salt is going back into the river thames?

It seems fairly clear what he is saying. It is used to make rainwater which is being routed into the sea salty so that it doesn't create this brackish water.
