Good, I am on the right lines then;
I have lost over 40 lbs in the last year so that's a good start 'eh
HSD's are on the list
I have some ex. BTC AP's that I intend to fit in the near future
A 3.9 or maybe even a 4.1 diff will be going in at some point I hope
I am off to see my friend Ray West of West Tuning very soon for exactly that

Losing weight gives you the greatest rewards at the wheel in terms of driver satisfaction. Great suspension can go some way to make up for it though. I ran a 1200 kg E36 328i track car with relatively cheap GAZ suspension until recently and now run a 1500 kg M3 Evo with Bilstein PSS9 Clubsport suspension, remap, APs front and rear and a 3.91 diff. The M3 is the much faster car in a straight line however it is only quicker on the faster tracks e.g. Bedford GT, Silverstone. Apart from the sensation of power, it is less satisfying to drive than the lighter 328i.
