HI guys, Ive just bought a Tuscan 2000 mk1. I have a few problems and id be grateful of any help. I used to be a mechanic so can do most stuff myself.

1) Throttle cable- was sticking when cold, i have tried everything I can think of ( oil, tighten springs, set pedel ect..) but it still sticks about 10% down and revs its bks off??? feels like its catching inside the sleeve of the cable? does it need re-routing?

2) Heater fan LED's- had to take the heater fan controls apart because the dial wouldnt press down to turn the fan on. when I rebuilt it the the fan and heater still work but non of the LED's light up? i think one of the screws shorted the board when rebuilt. whats going on, could it just be the chip that says "TVR heatpan6" ?????? and can i buy the chip alone?

3) The common problem of the LCD display lines, Where is the cheapest place to buy a replacement screen, dont mind if its not original.

Thanks guys, id really apreciate your advice!

Is it the fan speed led's or the heater temperature led's that aren't working? You said the fan still works but does it still adjust in speed and temp when you turn the control knobs?

Daz,Give X-works a call.. and get them to look it over ..Paul and Heath are ex factory service guys , none come better or more experienced, they are in Wesham, near Kirkham just of the M55. http://www.xworksservice.co.uk/ Good prices too.

You can't beat experience when it comes to looking after TVRs.

Winners of the BNG Concours (Best Sagaris/Tuscan and T350/Tamora classes) both maintained by X-Works.
