It's been approximately two years since Werners Flying Watches became a hit with Pistonheads and we had our eyes opened to a wider variety of watches and watch styles... so, who still has an Aeromatic, Tauchmeister or AstroAvia?

I currently have just one and will probably stick with it for a while. I love the traditional style cues with the onion crown, coin edge and cathedral hands...

I really must stop visiting this forum. It is costing me way too much. The missus is going to kill me!

I have literally just ordered this 5 minutes ago -

So simple yet so eye-catching.

Is there a reason for some of the numbers to be mirrored?

Quite possibly. However, whatever that reason may be, I have no idea I am afraid.

Just wondered, I'd seen it before on an old watch and wondered if this was mimicking that. Enjoy anyway!

Yes, I did actually. Sorry. I got the strangest of looks when I told her I was heavily influenced by a Mr. ShadownINja from Pistonheads and I had no intentions of buying any watches untill you posted some pictures.

It was a futile attempt at passing the buck. It didn't work. boxedin

laugh Did they give you a discount? They did if you mentioned PH before.

Unfortunately not. I never thought to mention PH to Nick @ Werners. I tried to blame you when questioned by the missus as to why I had to buy a 3rd watch in as many weeks. She has imposed a watch buying ban for the rest of the month.

I'm sad to say that my Werners watch died on the first time it touched water which left me having to buy a new watch on Hawaii. I emailed Nick when I returned as it was still in warranty but I did include that I did not know exact day or have proof of purchase but did have emails from around the time. I did not hear back from him.

I now wear a Tissot that I bought in Hawaii

Was it a diver's watch? It says on his site that they've been worn (successfully!) by divers.
