I have a MINI with 17" runflats "summer" tyres on. Have bought 17" Winter runflats in exactly the same size.
Is the process of fitting them vastly different to normal tyres?
I mean can they be fitted by any tyre fitter? Are the sensors "built" in the winters? Will the TPMS resetting be needed?
Cheers!

Any tyre place can change them. Toyota Rav 4 is a different matter due to the way their RF's work.

TPMS works of ABS sensor if memory serves me right.

The TPMS monitors (through the ABS sensors) changes to wheel speed caused by a reduced rolling circumference of a deflated tyre.

Good to know thanks! Didn't fancy paying BMW prices.
