Topic Off Topic - American Car Parts in GB/Europe

I have started saving for my Ultima GTR and can hardly wait to get going. Until then, my toy is a '96 Chevrolet Impala SS (Vette 'lump' and trans). In the U.S.A., it's called "The 4-Door Vette".

It just occurred to me that perhaps someone on this list can point me in the right direction. Oddly enough, there are some parts for the SS that can only be had across the pond.

Is there someone on the list that visits the "junk yard" (breakers?) -- where they take old cars for scrap? There are certain parts that I would like to get. If they are available, we could make a few quid each.
