After 4 years of Lambo ownership I am going to have a break from the brand - sold the Spyder as in the summer got to drive all the way down to Italy in the lambo and that was always my red letter day tbh which was main reason for buying it .... stelvio san bernadino, livigno, did it all roof off exhaust echoing thru the mountains .... tinkering along on our roads just doenst come close ..now going to try the DBS .... can't wait to pick it up next week..... going to miss handling and 4 wheel drive grip for sure but fancy a change and fell in love with the DBS when I unwittingly borrowed a friends in the summer - keep you updated.... hopefully still be invited to some of the meets despite not having an italian motor ! ..

Biggest understatement of the year.

Have spent a year now on the edge of the Alps in Austria.

Just 'did' the M4 between Slough and Reading recently..... felt like someone had sucked the life-blood out of me.

There are some epic roads in the UK

You Guys havent been looking hard enough for them

Granted, pretty much everything South of Birmingham is crap

But have you checked out mid/North Wales, The Peak District, Yorkshire, Scotland?

Bit of effort required, but its only a small island

^^^ and Cumbria too, round by some of the lesser touristy areas especially. I once did Hardknott and Wrynose pass (between Eskdale and Ambleside) in my 911......certainly gave the PSM and ABS electronics something to think about lol. Difficult to get above 40 mind you - the road is about 6 feet wide!

I sold my Lambo G Spyder for a DBS and I nearly totalled the DBSnon the roundabout on the way out. The grip and drive difference takes a few minutes to get used to. It's worth it though for sound, looks, overall feel good factor. Good luck.
