I've knocked up a page to try and record the current fastest FWD cars in the uk

http://www.mitsubishi-fto.net/ukfastestfwd.htm

Can you take a look and if I'm missing any 10s or quicker FWD cars from the list please PM or email me the details, lets compile a comprehensive list and try and keep it up to date.

Also please post the link onto any forums that you vist as I know there will be fast FWD cars out there that we don't know about.

Hello Richard,
good idea, would it be possible to add the date of run ?

Germany´s fastest is down to 9,89 / 139mph but takes a year off in 2011 so UK racers could overtake.

got a funny feeling it does not fit the street legal class that the mk2 does. 9's are still impressive tho.

If it helps I've got about 4 years of near-complete timing data from SPR?

yeah shes getting there, had a little track time last month ran a 12.02 on 6psi with a base map, so lets double the power and add nitrous for next season, 10's shouldn't be a problem but its the 9 im chasing, (although i dont have the money for the gearbox i need so will be happy with what i get)

On a front wheel drive car? Would wheelie bars help?

not really wheelie bars, the purpose is to prevent the rear squatting too much on launch and losing traction on the front wheels

I see Andy Speck ran a 10.147 on the updated list, he actually ran a much better 60ft against me in our run on sunday but sounded like he missed a gear, if he gets it altogether he'll be looking at 9s very soon. What a car!!
