Driving on the M4 today I saw a black Mclaren MP-412C. Aren't these released next year? It was on an MY10 plate. Was it a development model?

iv seen a few on the roads around mira with diffrent bits stuck on them last one was powder blue

There are a bunch of verification prototypes and by now there should be a few production prototypes running around. No customer cars until end of the year at the earliest I reckon.
