The housework secret
Discussion
I have inadvertently cracked the housework secret.
Last week as a necessary step to dealing with a damp patch on a wall I had to move all of the furniture in a bedroom and clean the acculating dust behind the bed and a chest of drawers. FFS, it was fun. Not like that daily grind stuff where you lightly vacuum and you flick a duster about; but proper housework with buckets of hot soapy water and scourers and burny chemicals. If you treat it like a proper job and not just titilation it makes it tolerable. I have ordered a steam cleaner to do it properly.
Now I intend to give one room a right going over every Sunday morning (today I did 2). Chucked all the accumulated clutter (half burned smelly candles, fashion magazines, anything made of china) washed the skirting boards, moved the sofas and rolled up the carpets to clean underneath.
Bathroom next week if the jet wash is working.

You are the reason Cillit bang exists, do your damn housework properly once a week or sooner if you prefer.Last week as a necessary step to dealing with a damp patch on a wall I had to move all of the furniture in a bedroom and clean the acculating dust behind the bed and a chest of drawers.
