Pesky foxes

So being someone not blessed with a garage and having to make do with a covered car port and cover, I didn't realise that I was also tasked with making a comfy bed for London's urban fox population...


Anyone had any similar experiences that could share tips in how to keep them off my cover? Enjoying the doggy smell and ending up with stray hair all over the car every time I take the cover off is starting to loose the novelty factor....

Animal friendly answers only please as I'm a regular RSPCA doner and actually quite like the urban foxes (well, apart from when they are sleeping on my car or keeping me awake with ear piercing screams at 4am in the morning)

Old thread - but after months of trying everything else and having to wash my car cover more than my car to remove fur/skin/blood/fleas I have found a solution, which so far seems to be working:
