Metallic black = BMW Diamond Black?

My car is in dire need of touch up paint. Searching here (back when it worked! 
) and elsewhere leads me to think the color is BMW's Diamond Black, but I'd like to get more confirmation before ordering the paint. I'm the third owner and received exactly nil for documentation.
Assuming this car was painted a "standard" color, is it likely to be BMW Diamond Black?
