If I get the 'codes' read will they tell me what's wrong with the heater/blower/air con? I thought I'd fixed it by changing the final stage resistor/hedghog but this hasn't fixed it.

The panel controls are lit up but nothing is happening apart from a very light blowing if you put the blower on max.

Also the seat memory have started to get forgetful and the pdc has stopped working (I think that's two sensors on the front left of the car). But could it all be related perhaps?

Is your battery on the way out, perhaps? Worth getting it tested.

I was getting glitches on mine a while back. Then the battery died completely. A replacement fixed everything.

I had this (Not the other issues just the blower). It was the heater blower motor itself and BMW releived me of £330 to fix it, its a dash out job.

Fox - that's what I was afraid of.

I'll try the new battery first and then take a big breathe and get the never-never (credit) card out to take a bashing!

Just get your battery checked before splashing out on a new one. Lots of parts places will check it for free. Also, Halfords IIRC.

PP - thanks for this. Good idea; I;ll do that first before stumping up more money potentially chasing my tail!
