Nipped out for a good blat in the boxster this morning and kept passing Porkers with drivers who waved. Drove past Moreton in Marsh and saw there was an event on that I'd completely failed to remember.

I'm assuming it was a front-engined get together, lots of lovely 924s, 944s and 968s.

Despite living very near to the HQ I'd never been in before, what a great place, a cut in half 996, a stripped out Boxster drive train and a cut open Boxster engine gave me lots to look at and I met a few friendly peeps too.

Anyone doing the Cotswolds rally?

Yes I was there in a Black S2. Shame I missed you Allan, would have said hello. Lots of waving and flashing going on (especially from the Cayennes), I think I had 100% of my waves returned - but I was pretty enthusiastic with my headlights

Yep that was me! It's been a class day of Porker action (I only live just down the road from the PCGB HQ) - everywhere I've been today there have been lovely classic porkers - with friendly drivers, it's been great actually getting some waves returned!

Nothing Lowly about a 944T, great car. Give us a shout if you're down this way again.

I was there too. A good day with variable weather. So what was the deal with the 10's of horseboxes blocking up the local roads?!

Melv - outside now!

I live about 3 miles from Moreton and there are ALWAYS dozens of horseboxes! (It's either a hunt or point to point)

Saw lots of you, but was not in the porker so resisted the temptation to wave

Yep I went along to Frontrunner, really good day out - I drove up from Cornwall for the event, hopefully I'll get to some more later in the year. Personally if I'm out in the wifes Audi I still give Porsches a wave and a smile, I know it still gives me a thrill to get them
