I did the vent line that was broken in a few places.. and now i can drive without the smell, but if I have only the driver window down, I smell a bit of gas still... any ideas? I dont see any issues with the tanks, I may drop the under body panel and take a look as suggested..

Did you replace the charcoal canister hoses going to the vent too?
