.... the "cheap cats" have done their job (the car passed the emissions part of the NCT with flying colours) and as a thank you to them I've decided to give them a 2-year holiday and put them on the shelf until the next test.

The de-cat pipes are back in and everything sounds a bit more normal again.

Oh, and the water temperature is back down to about 85*C again (it was up around 90*C with the cheap cats in).

What a pity there are no tunnels near where I live.

I love that post MOT feeling when you get the de-cats back on too, happily I do have a nice little railway bridge nearby
