More brave PHers required for Eastnor adventure (and pub-based debriefing...)
Pah, too easy!
Forget sliding around in the mud during daylight and being home in time for tea, we don't even start this off-roading session until dusk and we carry on through to almost 10pm.
Fancy a brew along the way? We'll be stopping in the mud to have it al-fresco. What about negotiating tricky decents? Well that might be rather scary, as we'll be guided along the way only by Hella spots, and at the top of the drop they will only be lighting the sky ahead! When it's all over, the pub will rarely have seemed so welcoming...
A few hardy PH souls have booked up to join us, but to be honest we are a little sad that so many PHers appear to be afraid of the dark! The session can hold 12 people and we are still some way off capacity (sadly) so it's not too late to join us and have what promises to be the laugh of the year... especially for the PH team as we'll be using our long-term test Defender which doesn't have any additional fancy lighting!

Full Programme
15.30: Arrival at Land Rover Experience for refreshments and registration
15.45: Guests will receive a short safety briefing.
16.00: Guests are shown to vehicles and commence off road drive. A coffee hamper will be taken out with the convoy to have en route. Groups will return to the LRE HQ for dinner during the evening
21.30: Convoy returns to the HQ for a warming brew to wrap the evening up. (convoy may be back later than advertised: driving conditions dependent)
Places are priced at £225 per person, and we'll have four people in each car (3 x PHers and one non-driving instructor) giving plenty of time behind the wheel for everyone.

As mentioned, we have arranged some special rate accommodation in a local Hilton hotel for those that would like to stay the night. Single occupancy room rate is £94 and for a double it’s £104. If you would like to take advantage of the special rates, please mention when booking, and you will be sent a booking link, along with further details.

However friends and family are welcome to wait for you in our reception area where we have complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, newspapers and free Wi-Fi access for laptops. All courses must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Provisional bookings can be made, and although we will make every attempt to honour these bookings, we cannot guarantee the booking details until full payment is made. Cancellations – In the event of cancellation of any booking by the customer, the customer may be entitled to a refund as outlined. Cancel 0-10 working day notice – refund = zero Cancel 10 working days to 4 weeks notice – refund = 50% Cancel more than 4 weeks notice – refund = full amount minus 10% admin fee. Amendments – Amendments to a booking will be treated sympathetically but no guarantee can be given to revise previous arrangements. I know why it needs to be theirs, but I reckon a bring your own type event would yield a lot more interest and may grace us with some stunning machines. I'm only driving a nearly standard Disco 2 but would much rather drive that than a loan vehicle.
