Anyone got any good deals recently?

Will be doing a fair few miles (Johannesburg to Kruger, up north, and back).

Ideally don't want a POS small car!

Can't you just car-jack one like everyone else?

Try to talking to the SA car hire companies - I hear they're usually quite good at this sort of thing.

Or fly to the Kruger - it can work out cheaper than a car but it rather depends whether you are self driving in the Kruger or having a guided safari.
