Made this for a client, got to drive it around North Yorkshire, got to say i loved it!! Driven a lot of cars in recent years but this really did stand out as one of the best in recent years!!!
Anyway was shot on my Sony Z1 and cut on FCP, theres a few shots that could have been better but on the whole i'm pretty happy with it. See what you guys thnk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_R38zd8vtk
NB: i only shoot n cut i have nothing to do with the review thats the clients job (tho i did pick the music)

I can't say that I'm a fan of much of it, but then I'm an arty-farty type person more than a documentary type person. The one thing that really lets it down for me is the obscure locations for the statics, the parking on a verge is really bad and having the car half tipping over in the woods just doesn't look natural at all. For me, if you found somewhere better for the statics the video would be improved greatly. Good feedback! Yeah all valid points i reckon, i'm still pretty happy as to how it turned out as i only had the car for a day and theres a lot to shoot to make even a crappy review video lol
I think that with more time i could have made a much better job, that said the client liked it and have paid up so on to the next one! Cheers for your feedback tho mate its very constructive and much appreciated!

This is the mini countryman review filmed on a private track in Bedford,,,few of you guys might have been there? Piston Heads photographer 'Nick" was there.
