God !!! Why is it so complicated out here in Spain. I wont bore you to death with the history but i was moments away from doing a deal on a Discovery untill i found this site www.landroverhell.com . This kind of conferms my fears over hear in spain after i have had NO replys from Land rover out here when asking about warrenty issues even when asking about a new RR !!!

So off i went to see an nice looking X5 today, 76,000 kms on the clock, its due a service but only got one Stamp in the book already ? is this correct ?

Starded it up in the showroom while he moved a few cars about to get it out, went for a drive, at first there was lots of GREY/White smoke but this cleared, is this because its been stood ?

What am i to look for on the car, its a october 2007 3.0d. as i have a language barrier what am i to look for in the way of options ? and is there a premuim sound sustem ?

You may or may not find it amusing to know that 90% of the parts that have failed on my Range Rover carry a BMW logo. But carry on with your X5 search.

Still walk away - 50k and one stamp in the book? It should have variable service limits, but should get between 12k and 16k depending on driving style and average distance traveled per trip etc. 50k and one stamp? I think not - if its REALLY good then get it checked on the BMW computer system to make sure, but plenty to choose from so walk.
