Where to buy tickets?

Need some advice on where best to purchase tickets from. I spoke to an organiser who told me the camping is free, however I remember buying tickets in 2006 & having a pass for the Karting Nord site.
If I was to just buy the race tickets, how does the camping work? Also, best places to get pitched up?
The site opposite the Pit lane looked good...
Any help, i'm confused.com!
BTW, we'll be on bikes if that makes any difference.

Camping is not free! You will need to buy camping permits regardless of the site you choose.
Unfortunatley, you pay per vehicle, so you will need a pass for each bike.
Beusejour can usually be bought at the circuit when you arrive, but it's not worth taking the risk IMHO.
The best sites are Maison Blanche Houx and Houx Annexe. Allocated pitch, but other sites are a free for all, so the best pitches disappear the nearer to race day you leave it before arriving. They are the most expensive and usually sell out immediately. So even now might be hard to buy.
Bleu Nord and Sud are allocated pitch 5-10mins walk from the main entrance outside the circuit. Reasonable sites anf facilities and easier to come across passes. These are probably your best bet.
All have loo blocks and showers, but queues can be an issue for the showers.
Beausejour suffers if it is a wet week, so make this the last choice.

It's a good position with allocated pitches, albeit noisy, but as with most campsites the loos and showers are not looked after that well and become unpleasant very quickly. I've alweays booked our group through a small specialist company called Travel Destinations - see their website www.lemansrace.com or give them a call on 0844 873 0203. They are extremely helpful and organise everything inc. ferry tickets, race & grandstand tickets and can advise on various campsites. They have their own private site now at the Porsche Curves, fully fenced in with their own security, reception, marquee, bar, bid screen tv, private banked trackside viewing area and best of all their own privately serviced loos and showers! We are trying this one out next year for the first time. It is more expensive at £175 for a 7 x 5m pitch for 2011, but the facilities should more than make up for the higher price. They still have availability if this is of interest to you.
