GD Airbox

Does anyone know whi has fitted one of these Gardner Douglas aiboxes on their LS?
GD don't appear to know the right distance from the back of the firewall for correct fitment not to foul the rear clip - I have been told there is a very small clearance (5mm) between the top of the box and clip when fitted so this is critical.

Unfortunately I dont have my clip at the moment, so would appreciate some guidance? I think Paul Buckley had one of these, but I dont appear to be able to raise him via his PM.

Anyone else know the right measurements?

GD also has this solution, but thats for their T70

That's the baby old chap! ...and it looks closer to the firewall than I have it - do you know the measurements from FW to the top or bottom lip of the inlet on the box?

Would help a lot!

sorry...don't know more, maybe the owner is on here too.
also saw another one a while ago but can't find that back, that was a bit different to this installed.

also that U turn has two sites, one is longer...so then it goes some more back when you instal it upside down I guess.

I believe GTRSimon with the yellow GTR at the FOD in 2009 had one on his LS3 engine set-up. I think he has sold his car since. Thought I had a photo but can't find it...
