Is the Rolex a Precision? Trying to see on my Blackberry and it is a bit small.
From what I can see, and I am becoming active in the vintage Rolex watch hunt, it isn't anything special and shouldn't be very expensive.
For info, I have been offered a couple of vintage (60s) Precision Dates on original, genuine Rolex Oyster bracelets for about GBP700 and an Oyster, which is similar to the one in your picture for about 1k, before negotiation.
I am in Singapore, which does help (though not really for new watches). I must put up a thread one of these days as I visit the vintage Rolex market on a Sunday, most weeks, over here and they always have some very interesting pieces!
I would LOVE a vintage Rolex, but I can't get over how small the cases are... I am not a small man and the DEEPSEA that I am currently wearing looks merely 'big' on me, as opposed to enormous!
