Yes.

I have a crack program specially for this purpose. Email me the file and I'll have a go for you.

Easy peasy.

Boot to DOS, using edit, open the spreadsheet and remove the top header lines that make up the password, it will take practice so make some copies first (burn to CDRW or similar) then once edited, save again, and then open in Excel as normal, or use the open with dialogue prompt.
I can't offer more advice as its all pictures in my head, but I've done this with Word etc and it works ok, If, if the document is not encrypted just passworded, and you are using Fat file systesm, otherwise you'll require an NTFS reader/editor and most good ones cost. You can go to Sysinternals.com for a NTFS reader, but it won't allow writing etc.

A Google for 'password cracker excel spreadsheet' reveals many thousands of hits. MS document password protection/encryption is utter pants.

Well I tried doing this in XP. run, cmd then edit, alt+F to open a file, then choose the file, open it in the command editor and hey presto password protection easily cracked.
Some of the formatting was a bit askew hence you'll need to evaluate what you require.
