Dragging my T350 on Sunday.
Going to reset my rev indicator to hopefully maximise my times.
What's thoughts on rev sequence settings?
Engine is a Saggy 4.0 ltr by the way.
Cheers. BB.

I personally keep mine set at 500 below factory settings. That means I can see the lights without killing it...

Hi Simon, you need to find the torque curve of a 4.0 S6 and that will tell you when you need to change up. Of course if you are only 50 meters away from the line and the torque is dropping down then I would not change up as that time as it will take will be longer than the time you will lose from reduced torque.

The most important thing is going to be your take off and finding out what revs you want to use with out spinning all over the place. I start in 2nd with the LS7 but then again you have sat next to me when I take it up to 140 on the runway do not need 1st.

It will be nice to see how the old engine performs.

Ta for advice Paul. The car is running lovely, so I'm hoping for a good run. I will let you know how the engine goes.
Cheers. Simon

Just as a bench mark for you, My decatted Sag eng'd T350 ran a 12.4s, with a 2.2s 60ft time. 3.73 diff, road tyres.
My best time was with lowish revs off the line, then very quickly, but progressively, reaching full throttle once on the move.

Good Luck, would be interested to know your times.
