Driving down the road top town big grin all in the world is great when..... Smoke billows out of the back of my
baby!!! Once I've stopped panicking and dreading the worse and have had a quick look thank the lord I notice that
it's nothing bigger than a little rubber thingy on the oil filler pipe that has perished... Does anyone know what the
rubbery thing that joins the filler pipe to the black plastic box is called so that I can order one and make good?
Thanks guys!

I know what you re talking about but cant remember what its called. Try type911.co.uk and look around their site as they have labelled diagrams for different bits and pieces and seeing as the air cooled engine has a bit of an oil pipe leak habit they should have the bits. Good luck.

Sounds like you mean the bellows (above the bracket) or the oil hose (below the bracket). Given the criticality of the system I suggest you get it sorted professionally - doesn't sound expensive (yet!)

That would make sense, it does extend and retract, thanks for the advice.
