Has anyone got Multi car insurance or a good multi product insurance discount.

I have got to insure the MX5, The Rodeo and now a Mondeo.

Had good quotes from Aviva on the MX and Mondeo but sky high on truck, Admiral worked out at the same average, truck lower but other to higher but wanted a decent deposit.

What are you experiences and I pay monthly.

Cheers

Didn't have any joy trying for a multicar policy with Admiral and my XJ8 + MX5, but I suspect my age had something to do with that.

As always, I guess the best option is to go to specialist brokers and get them to recommend the best course of action.

What about classic car policies, if eligable? I'm guessing the milaege with you having three might be low enough?

My E Class and Eunos are both insured through Direct Line (yes, a supposedly difficult and expensive to insure import Eunos through a mainstream insurer!), got a multi car discount and both were the cheapest premiums for the cover I wanted anyway.

I have actually had to deal with them in a claims situation albeit 6/7 years ago and they were decent to deal with.

Sorry to be pedantic :-) but Direct Line do not have a multi car or multi vehicle policy, all they offer is an extra discount for second and subsequent vehicles. The Admiral deal is a multi car policy with a 5 fairly standard car limit but with Primo plc there is no limit and you can insure pretty much anything.

I'm with Admiral but my multi car discount was cancelled as they both need to be kept at your home address.

In addition, my premium would have jumped from £650 to £950 if I paid monthly....

Are you allowed modded cars on these multi-car policies?

Aviva seem to be comming out the cheapest all round, but they are expensive on the rodeo but a lot cheaper on the other 2.

If only they could get the rodeo premium down.
