Car spot/miles of enjoyment

Hello all!
I'm new to PH so apologies if I stumble in, break any protocol or tread on anyone's dog: I will learn in time!
Enthusiasm roused to post today, though, by spotting a Clio Trophy on the M40 - with the reg 'T 6 PHY'. How many, I mused, knew just how cool that was? I felt part of a little club as I followed from afar: didn't clock the chap as he pulled off before I did... but whoever it was, thank you, for giving me a little car nut entertainment today.
And for reminding me how damn GOOD the Trophy was.

At first, I didn't get what you meant..
On my second read, I understood you.
I agree! Saw a Caterham in my Rearview today, saw it get closer, then the driver gave me a wave (Caterham had PH stickers as does my car) and was gone, I was just pootling home so not gunning it but enjoyed seeing it going along, others would look at it and point or the like, but felt I was part of the group.

Right country, but this was more of a PH favourite, It did make me smile when I saw it. Looks like you haven't been here long so you probably don't know about pistonheads obsession with the MX5.
Was gonna give him a wave but I was wearing a baseball cap so it would've probably ended up with a thread on here entitled "Stupid chav tried to race me earlier" so I didn't bother.
