Quick tyre question...

Hi all,

Have googled this but not had any specific figures.

What difference in tyre pressure (psi) would you expect to see between a hot and cold tyre? So say if inflated to 32psi when warm what would be the minimum you would expect to see when stone cold?

How hot is hot?

I have seen tyres on my 328i go from 30psi cold to 38psi hot (i.e. after being on track for 20 mins).

Going from being driven on a warm day to sat there on a cold evening.

I suspect I might have a slow puncture, however no tyre centres round here have an immersion bath/tank to check.

Think I lost 5 psi.
