I have spoken to a few people about this and i get mixed advice, some tell me 5w40 fully syth is perfect but others tell me that it is not good for the turbos and to go for a greddy 10w80 which is specially designed for long turbo life.

I have always used 5w40 but would like to find out more about this, it seems like a catch 22, but saying that i have never had any turbo trouble with the 5w40.

Noble recommend Shell Helix Ultra (5W40) - I've been using this for over 5 yrs in my heavily tracked M400 with no issues. I do of course change my oil and filter much more frequently than recommended.
