Does anyone with a 3200 fancying meeting up one weekend after Easter? I live in Kent, but am happy to travel if needs be.

Ideas/thoughts?? Sunday lunch would be preferable for me.

I'd be up for it. Sunday lunch sounds a good idea otherwise an outing to some suitable motoring event?

If it could avoid the weekends of May 1st/2nd or 8th/9th, then I should be OK (subject to approval from the management!)

Chris

Forgot to say, I'm on the NW outskirts of London but relaxed about travelling - it's an excuse to drive the car after all!

Sounds good to me. I am not travelling though as my car looks very pretty at the moment because I cleaned it at the weekend. Therefore it's up and down my driveway time trials (my personal best is 1.3 secs). And also the added bonus of my driveway would be that I could have a couple of beers

Anywhere will do for me. Let's get a table booked when we have some numbers.

As an idea why don't we arrange to meet on Sunday 25 April somewhere in Surrey which is almost exactly half way between me and Chris?

Can you recommend a suitable venue Mr Tony? I'll then book something.

Nick, I'll put me thinking cap on then, and try and find us a really nice pub.

Off the top of my head theres always the Rose and Crown in Thorpe, good parking and excellent food, just not a long enough drive for me if we go there!

You can always drive around randomly for an hour beforehand!

May sound a bit sad, but how about meeting an hour earlier and going for a short blast before back to the pub for some grub?

of course

I'll have to get looking around for a decent route for a 30 minute run out and around the area. There are some nice roads hidden away not far away so you'll be able to 'stretch your legs' a little.

Might be worth a quick stop in at Maranellos given that we'll make a rather impressive entrance

Are we fixed on a date yet? Is it boys day out or are the wives coming. If the wives are coming how about the kids (mine 8 year old girl). Dont mind either way.

I'd go with Nicks suggestion.

As for lads/family meet not really my issue as theres only me anyway! I'm happy with whatever everyone wants to do.

The pub is child friendly (well you can take kids in and they do kids food and theres a big old playing field next door..)

Pub is called the Rose and Crown, situated on Thorpe green. Basically from the V/W car park on the A30, drive through virgina water village and out the other side, pub is on your left about 2 miles after leaving the A30. Thats less than 5 miles off the M25 - Staines Juntction. I'll post a map reference later.

[unless someone has a better plan in which case I'm all ears ]

Tony, as soon as you get a route sorted, post it under the new thread I've just started giving details of the meet. Things such as time to meet etc. can be posted in the next week or so.

Ian, IMO kids and wives are welcome, although I'll probably leave my family at home.
