What is the obsession with Bentley wheels these days?

it has been a trend for ages.
Fair enough, but why? What's the connection/ appeal? Genuinely curious...they can't be cheap.
Cheap, definitely not.
I'd have Porsche wheels on mine personally. Although in my defence, I'd want VW centre caps

I don't want to start that sort of thread. I just wondered why they chose Bentley specifically.
They bolt straight onto other VAG products (as do some Lambo wheels) and look expensive . . . . . . . . . I dont think there is anything massively more to it, Forest Gump said:

Personally I don't see the point, they dont look good on VAG cars!
As for the VAG owners comment, same could be said of Bentley owners:

There was a bit of a trend in mkI TT circles & frankly they look daft on that type of car.
Especially when there are so many nice genuine VAG alloys they could have chosen, more in keeping with the car.
VAG enthusiasts also have the same thing going on with Porsche wheels & calipers.
It appears to be more about the status of having these items than style or function.
Each to their own though!
