i have just replaced the rear discs on my 2000 model they are off a Ford escourt cosworth 4WD ,remove the rear wheel and you can read the ford part number on them it has the ford oval logo then the number on the horizontal face between bolt face and disc part number = V89BB-2A315-AA ,they were £50 a pair cheaper from ford than TVR the rear pads are Ferodo FDB398 the pads were more expensive from ford than TVR , the ford dealer got the discs for me the next morning you need a tool to screw the piston back in it takes a lot of turns i cut an old socket down and used a ratchet to wind mine back in .The front discs are a ford part as well just find the part number on one and do the same at the front hope this is of some help good luck Steve.

For wiper blades I just took the old blade to Hellfords and measured it up against the ones they had on the shelf. COuldnt tell you which one it turned out to be though in the end. Tell your mate to go for decent Bosch ones, not the crap own-brand ones.

You need to check the brake discs very carefully as a variety have been used over the years. Some fit and some don't. The offsets can vary and all it takes is a couple of mm difference and the disc can hit the calliper. Many of the replacement discs are not made to these type of tolerances either.

They have used Granada 5 stud discs that they redrilled for example. Order those and you will find the four holes missing. To be honest I would not order blind.

As for brakes again some variation so important to chcek that what you get is what you need. The bible has some pictures of differencs in brake pads so that you can some idea of the problems. It also has the details of how to change the pads discs etc.

Agreed on the wipers, they're bad enough as standard, you certainly don't want to make the problem worse. Has anyone tried the PIAA curved wipers on a Tiv tho? Do they fit?

Steve.
